Enlarged Adenoids Allergies
They are a mass of tissue, located in the passage that connects the back of the nasal cavaty to the throat. Adenoids - which are also called nasopharyngeal tonsils but are separate from the tonsils in the throat. Although tonsils are visible when the mouth is wide open, adenoids need a small mirror and a special scope.
and viruses that one breathes in or swallows. By making antibodies, they help the young child's body fight respiratory tract infections. Children are born with adenoids which are quite small. Adenoids get less vital as the child grows older and the body builds other mechanisms to fight germs. It is during the growth phase that adenoids can potentially cause problems. Both the adenoids and tonsils get enlarged when they get infected with bacteria. Mostly they return back to their original size once the infection is over; however, in some cases they tend to remain enlarged when infections are frequent or chronic.
Causes
Swollen or enlarged adenoids are common in children. Causes include :
Recurrent and chronic infections with viruses or bacteria.
Allergies.
Often there is no apparent cause.
Homeopathic Treatment of Enlarged Adenoids
Treatment of enlarged adenoids in allopathy
In a case of enlarged adenoids an allopath may consider removing the adenoids because antibiotics only provide temporary relief and are not used for long-term treatment. Surgical removal of the adenoids is a procedure called Adenoidectomy, carried out through the mouth under a general anesthetic, involves the adenoids being curetted, cauterized, lasered, or otherwise ablated.

Several years ago, operations to remove tonsils and adenoids were very common. These operations are done less commonly now as the benefits are not thought to be as 'clear cut' as they were once thought. Also, as with all operations, there is a risk involved with surgery. For example, possible complications of surgery include infections and severe bleeding from the sites where the tonsils or adenoids were removed, and anesthetic reactions.

Also, after adenoids are removed, the speech may become nasal. In a number of cases speech therapy is needed, or even a second operation to narrow the gap between the soft palate and the roof of the mouth.
Other Complications Associated With Surgery for Adenoid Removal Are :
Sore throat, earache and a stiff jaw.
Blocked nose.
Change in voice - as if talking through the nose.
Bad breath.
You may have grown up in an era when removing the adenoids and tonsils was standard practice and may have undergone one of these procedures yourself. But because now we understand more clearly the role of the adenoids in fighting infection, the chances of your child's undergoing an adenoidectomy are much more remote.
Homeopathy for Enlarged Adenoids
Surgery is often advised, but it is not a definite solution to the problem. Fortunately homeopathy can help. Homeopathic treatment offers a very safe and effective way to cure enlarged adenoids and tonsils and can save the little ones from the surgeon's knife.

Homeopathy is a type of natural medicine used to treat various symptoms. This medicine has slowly risen in popularity over the years, making it now the second most common form of medicine used in the world.

In a typical case of homeopathic healing, a person's complete symptoms will be treated. It follows nature's rule, so it never admits removal as a cure. It means healing as making healthy, not removing.

So if you are going to remove the adenoids or tonsils, it is just like removing the guards who often get attacked by infections while safeguarding us, which is not wise decision.

Homeopathic philosophy has always stood by the view that whenever possible the tonsils and adenoids should be saved as they are an important defence tissue of our body and provide the children with the much required immunity.
